I built Nyaya Assist to empower Indian lawyers, law students, and paralegals with smarter, faster access to legal information. The legal research process in India is traditionally fragmented and time-consuming—many rely on manual searches or generic platforms that don’t cater to the unique needs of our legal ecosystem. Nyaya Assist stands out because it is specifically designed for the Indian legal community, offering AI-powered search, precedent retrieval, and contextual summaries tailored to Indian case law. Unlike generic tools, our platform recognizes the different journeys lawyers, students, and paralegals take—providing personalized dashboards, workflow tools, and access to the latest judgments and legal resources. I am most proud of our role-based experience: users are guided seamlessly from onboarding to their core tasks, whether it's researching a case, drafting documents, or preparing for exams. We listened to early users and optimized our flows so each persona feels at home from the start. This launch marks a step towards making legal research more accessible and efficient for everyone working in Indian law.
