Hi Product Hunt! We're a husband and wife studio in Austin making mobile apps and games since 2015. Nine years ago we launched Neon Poly, a neon block puzzle that still holds up. What we always wanted was to play it WITH each other and our friends. But every block-puzzle battle game we tried was real-time, which means everyone has to be online at the same moment. With jobs and kids and time zones, that almost never happens. So Neon Poly Duo is async. You play your round whenever you have a few minutes, your friend plays theirs whenever they do, and the best total after three rounds wins. The faster you play, the bigger the multiplier, so it's still intense even though nobody's waiting on you. A few things we're proud of: • The music is built in layers and gets more intense as you play faster • Rival bots for when your friends are asleep (Prime, the top one, is pretty good for a bot) • Weekly tournaments where the winner's badge stays on their avatar for good • iPhone and Android players can challenge each other We'd love to hear from you!
