What do you think? …

Kyle Conarro
Looks similar to Fluid (though that's Mac-only), although this is run from the command-line (Fluid has a UI to configure the app) https://www.producthunt.com/tech...

@conarro Hi, please apologize if I disturb you but because you are interested in Nativefier, I think you might be interested in WebCatalog (https://getwebcatalog.com/), a similar app but lighter, faster, always up-to-date with a more user-friendly user interface. Give it a try and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or feedback!
Ricardo Polo
@conarro in my opinion much better than fluid, fluid use and old Safari version, Electron is framework everyday :)

I still haven't found a decent substitute for the GMail web UI for dealing with the volume of work e-mail I have to go through. This means that by end of day I end up with about 4 or 5 tabs open for my inbox. This also sucks. Nativeifier solves this problem by giving me a native mac app that perfectly wraps pretty much any web app. I can launch it from the doc. Command tab to it. All those awesome things. Hope you folks find it useful too. It's made my life better. Thanks Jia Hao!

@gozmike what about Mailplane?
Mike Gozzo
@chrismessina hadn't seen mailplane before. it might actually suit my needs a little better. Thanks!

@gozmike what about Kiwi for Gmail? I love it but I'm also tied to my MixMax for Gmail and it's sweet features (they have a lite native app)

How similar would apps made with this be to Slack's desktop app? I really like the fact that they have a desktop app. There might be a use case for our business. UPDATE: Just realized this is a github repo. Nevermind, we'd want support, etc.
Ruben Garcia
@williamdinkel It uses Electron behind the scenes, which is the same fw used by Slack to create their desktop apps

Would this work for Asana? Yes it did... OAuth still does not; which is expected and understandable :)

Amazing software, I wish something simple like this existed to convert webpages into native mobile apps.
Mike Gozzo
@kingdomof_s my last startup did just this, albeit crappily. Then it got acquired and torn into little bits so it doesn't exist in the same way anymore. Do it!

@gozmike can this take a web app like Bubble.is and produce native mobile apps? With gestures? Curious to hear about your experience with your last startup.
Randall Bennett
This is insanely useful. Thanks!
Ruben Garcia
I like the fact that it creates an Electron wrapper of the webapp automatically. This is something I thought of doing myself for a long time. Glad somebody kicked it off! Working pretty good so far
