Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹ We're super excited to be able to share Nack with you all! @dextersjab and I are brothers from London who (after years) have finally decided to build our first product together šŸ˜…. We've both loved tinkering with AI, but after speaking to friends and family, we realised it's still not as accessible and user-friendly as it should be. So, following discussions with our target audience, we decided to build Nack. Our aim is simple to make AI models more: - accessible - useful - simple If this is the future, which we believe it is, we want to make sure nobody is left out. So Nack is currently an AI chat app that allows you to: šŸ’¬ Chat with AI (including GPT4) šŸŽØ Generate images ā« Upscale your best images šŸ“Œ Pin your favourite conversations šŸ”Ž Through chat and prompt history šŸ“² Available on iOS and Android šŸ’» Desktop/web coming soon. etc. We have big plans for long-term functionality, so watch this space! @uma_venugopal All of the user data is stored locally within the device. It's yours, and we can't touch it. Even OpenAI has less visibility too :)

@uma_venugopal Thanks for checking it out Uma! Like @rawoyemi pointed out, all your conversation data is yours. We also help break the link between your identity data (e.g. IP address, email) and OpenAI. So you get to use the tools without compromising data safety!

@irina_haupt Thanks, Irina - you're incredible! Long term, we're trying to aggregate the best-in-class models across text, images, audio and video. But something critical we're focussing on is trying to make the product a lot more user-friendly, even more so than it is now. Aside from that, we're experimenting with other more exciting things, but we'll see how things go, feedback, etc.

Does Nack AI work offline?

@jd_manager Great Q! The app will load all your saved convos offline (because that data is stored locally). However, you won't be able to make any calls to the AI models because we don't run them on the device.
