Gamers don't really have an identity layer. Steam profiles are locked down. Linktree wasn't made for games — no library, no ratings, no schedule, no live status. Your clips are on Medal, your VODs are on Twitch, your ranks are on third-party trackers, and your configs are sitting in a .txt file on your desktop.
myXD puts everything into one actually good-looking, unified profile.

My high school project was about almost the same thing, I never finished it and dumped it - but I'm glad that this woman did it her own way, from the scratch. Having full Steam library, Epic Games library and that all is fine, but when it comes to finding new players for co-op games, everyone is quiet, every discord server turns out to be quiet, your friends suddenly cannot play and all you ended up with are random people found in casual gamemodes for everyone - those people, that will shout at you with any mistake you do. So when MyXD reached my eyesight, I was and I still am glad, that I have a platform where I can look for new people, reach them out directly through discord, their livestreams on twitch or kick, see their content on youtube etc. Another thing - I have never seen a site, where you can share with people your setup. I have never seen a gaming-based site that shows that you are live on ytb, kick or twitch. I can visibly share my gaming screenshots without post compression etc. I have 2 questions, but since I haven't used the site for 2 weeks now, these might be outdated already: - Is there ever gonna be some form of "add all games from (platform)" when you have e.g. shared steam link and your steam profile is public? - Saw here comment from Sasha about commenting on other profiles, I would even ask for more - are you planning to add some pop-up chat so the people can have first connection easier that hours of waiting for accepting discord request, that is always 50/50 if the person accepts or ignores it?

@riverevial a thing Sasha has joked about in the past is that I am essentially making a dating platform for gamers. Which honestly is not that far away from the truth in a sense. As of right now, you have to rely on either the very limited Explore page to find someone to hang out with, or more often encourage someone to make a profile on myXD so you could check your compatibility.
Your suggestion about the chat is not that far away from the current plan. However I wanna completely avoid turning the app into a chatting platform. Nowadays we already have to rely and keep in touch on numerous different platform to stay in the loop and adding another one to the pile I do not believe is the way to go.
If anything, I would prefer to go down the path of a smart matchmaking, think Tinder or Faceit style, and then encouraging one another to switch to a platform of your preference. Perhaps encouraging people to initiate contact through myXDs Discord server, but I do not wanna rely on other platforms with such delicate functionality in the long run.
As for the first question - yes! You can just simply give myXD the URL to not only yours, but to ANY Steam profile out there, it will match the Steam games with our IGDB database, and you can manually select which games from the bulk import you want to keep on your profile. If you happen to have multiple Steam accounts, you can just repeat this with all of them - duplicates will be ignored. And you do not have to worry about security either as there is no pairing of your Steam account with the myXD account.

Loving the platform so far! I am glad I get the full access by default to customize my profile as much as I want, however I am curious: Will there be any MyXD servers for gaming in the future or perhaps an option to comment on other profiles? No matter how long these changes may take, just wanna be excited for something haha

As of right now, myXD is more of a hub that connects people and already existing projects. Gaming servers are an amazing idea - that being said, as of right now, I am more leaned towards providing a catalog of existing gaming servers (for games that allow it) instead of spending the resources on our own infrastructure that is unrelated to the app directly.
However! I would be totally down to making for example a Minecraft server, lets say exclusively for the VIP members, so we could all hang out down the road!!!
Comments have been in the backlog for a while now and I would love to look into adding them, eventually. Right now there is way too many other features I need to finish, features that I believe are fundamental for myXD. More important, any user made content directly on the site would require some layers of moderation and right now I do not have the capacity for it, sadly.
