Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Vijay, the maker of MyTripDude. Why I built it: When I went on a trip to Malaysia, everything was scattered. One note had every place I'd researched, with entry fees and opening hours. Another note had what I'd actually booked - hotels, entry tickets, transport tickets, my visa. A money manager app held my expenses, Drive held my documents (with copies saved offline), and yet another note was my checklist. When I got back and wanted to share the trip, I had to open all of them one by one - and some of my expenses were personal, things I didn't want anyone else to see. So I built MyTripDude: the places, bookings, expenses, documents and checklist in one place, a PDF booklet to share the whole trip, and a category PIN to keep sensitive spending private (locked expense descriptions stay hidden in the PDF too). What it does: • Itinerary - collect places in a pool, then drag them into days • AI place suggestions by destination and month • Upload a hotel or transport booking PDF and it pre-fills the form • Expenses in any currency, with the option to lock a category behind a PIN • A private document vault, reusable packing checklists, and rich-text trip notes • Share a trip with someone as a read-only viewer, and export the whole trip as a PDF It's free, no card needed, and works on the web and Android. An iOS app is planned - until then, iPhone users can use the web app in Safari and add it to their Home Screen. What's next: trip reminders, an offline trip map, and a "countries I've visited" map.
