I’m Malika, founder and CEO of myAIcademy, a personalised, continuously updated AI learning platform built around your role, goals and the tools you actually use.
You learn a real workflow, practise it in a safe simulation and use it to finish real work. We’re live on iOS, Android and web.
⭐ The founding story
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of AI, enterprise adoption and education.
At Google Cloud, I was a Generative AI Black Belt, helping large enterprises adopt AI. Before that, I worked in Microsoft’s cloud business.
I also serve as adjunct faculty at Georgetown University, Washington, DC, and have worked with more than 10,000 professionals and leadership teams.
I kept seeing the same problem: companies bought AI licences, told people to “just use AI” and left them with generic courses, prompt libraries and trial and error.
The gap is not access. It is adoption.
AI learning also accumulates content debt: tools change weekly, so courses quickly become inaccurate. AI learning must be maintained like software.
So we built myAIcademy.
⭐ Using myAIcademy is simple
Tell us your role, experience, goals and tools. We build your personalised learning path.
Learn one complete workflow through a 15-minute follow-along lesson.
Practise it in a safe simulator before applying it to live work.

⭐ Here’s everything you get today
A personalised learning path based on your role, level, goals and tools.
15-minute follow-along lessons built around real workflows.
Safe simulator checkpoints instead of passive quizzes.
Lessons reviewed and refreshed within 24 to 72 hours when major tool changes affect them.
Monthly masterclasses, Signals explaining AI updates and a shareable Skill Passport.
One synced account across iOS, Android and web.
⭐ What’s next
Coming soon, Aimy, your AI learning agent, will guide you inside the AI tools your organisation has approved.
Tell Aimy what you need to accomplish and it will translate your task into clear prompts, steps and actions for you to follow, while applying your organisation’s security, privacy and compliance policies. You stay in control, complete the work yourself and get more value from AI without stepping outside policy.
⭐ A final note
Our dream is to make “just use AI” feel like an invitation, not a burden.
In five years, not understanding AI will be as limiting as not understanding the internet. We want every professional to become fluent in AI, and fluency should mean finished work, not certificates.
Tell me your role and one task you want AI to do. I’ll personally reply with the workflow, tool and first prompt I would try.
Try myAIcademy for free on the web app, download it on iOS, or get it on Android. No credit card is required.
I’m grateful to be building this with @ash_96 (Ashfaq, design), @angothu_rahul_naik (Rahul, founding engineer), Ruchit (engineering) and the myAIcademy team.
PS: Thank you to the 10,000+ professionals who worked with me before the app, and to our early users across iOS, Android and web. We would not be here without you.
A lot of AI courses teach tools but people struggle to apply them at work. How do you make sure learners actually build useful workflows?
Congrats @malika_malik1 & team!
The lesson is the workflow. You don't watch it, you build it on your own work and keep the output.
Then the checkpoint makes you rebuild it in the simulator without the guardrails. If you can't reproduce it, you haven't learned it, and we can see exactly where it broke.
Next is Aimy, our AI learning agent. It works alongside you inside the tools your organisation already approves, turning the task in front of you into the prompts and steps to finish it, inside your security and compliance policies. The lesson teaches the workflow. The checkpoint proves it. Aimy makes sure it's still there on Monday.

I like the focus on learning AI around the actual role. That feels much more useful than taking a generic course.
@edward_paul3 thanks Edward. generic courses tell you what the tool does. they don't tell a finance analyst or a recruiter what to do with it in their actual week. that's the bit we're trying to close.

How do you handle someone whose role changes halfway through a learning path?

The simulations sound interesting. Practicing with realistic AI tools before using them at work could make learning less intimidating.
@filxa_adam Thank you—that’s exactly why we built them. Our simulations called checkpoints give professionals a safe place to practise realistic, role-specific tasks before applying those skills to real work. It’s about building confidence through doing, not just watching.

@ash_96 @angothu_rahul_naik @malika_malik1 Keeping lessons updated within 72 hours when model or UI changes drop is tough to pull off at scale.
@ash_96 @angothu_rahul_naik @malika_malik1 glad it’s focused on completing a real task rather than just watching an hour-long video on theory... congrats
