Review Muse?
Reviewers describe Muse as a thoughtful, well-crafted space for organizing ideas, with nested boards, flexible canvases, and support for mixed content standing out most. Several say it helps them bring clarity and calm to complex work, from everyday thinking to large distributed-systems planning, and some value being able to use it offline. The tone is strongly positive, with design and interaction quality praised repeatedly. Criticism is limited but specific: users want better PDF annotation, plus additions like OCR, tags, shapes, and perhaps easier browser access.

I’ve been looking for something like this, that doesn’t enforce any particular structure or format on ideas I am working with.
It does have constraints, but they are the sort of opinionated design decisions that are helpful in preventing me endlessly fiddling with the software instead of making something with it.
Give it a try.
Muse is the product that I always wanted to exist (and considered for a while building it myself). It’s simple and powerful. And the new Mac version lets you pick up where you left and further develop your work, seamlessly.
I've been excited about Muse since first learning about the project some months ago. I finally began to sink my teeth into the platform a month or so ago, and it has been a truly enjoyable experience! More importantly, it's proven its ability to add tremendous value in my day-to-day as I work through the intricacies that come with developing large-scale distributed systems.
Muse is an absolutely incredible app. It's helped bring so much clarity, order, and calm to my otherwise chaotic mind, I would honestly be lost without it! Plus, it's clearly been created with such care, the attention to detail in the design is second to none making it a real joy to work with. Looking forward to introducing it to my team!
Love using Muse to capture and explore thoughts offline while flying. Not sure I'll need the collaboration features (while cool to see), but excited about the search and card connectivity.

I’ve been using this for a few months now and I’m really enjoying the thoughtful interaction design and the way it can aggregate a whole range of content types into one canvas.
Ever time I use the app, it feels magical. Everything is so thought through. It's beautiful.
Using Muse alone brings me much joy. Can't wait to do it with other people :)
