Copy nine things, paste any of them. MultiClipboard adds nine clipboard slots to macOS with one shortcut. Native, private, one-time purchase.

How does the one shortcut actually work for picking which of the nine slots to paste from? Is it a hold and tap combo or something like a number key after activation?

@naciyenk4c Hi!
So you press Shift+CMD+V and then you can just simply tap the number 1-9 :) You will see a layover with all the slots
How does it handle sensitive content like passwords or API keys—does it store them in plain text anywhere, and can I exclude certain apps from being captured?

Hi! Good question, happy to answer it honestly.
MultiClipboard never records anything on its own. There's no background monitoring of your clipboard. Something only lands in a slot when you press ⇧⌘C yourself, so a password you copy normally with ⌘C never touches the app. It also has no network access at all, so nothing ever leaves your Mac. No account, no cloud.
On the plain text question, straight answer: yes. Saved slots sit unencrypted in a file in your user Library folder (that's how they survive a restart). Only your macOS account can read it, and FileVault covers it at rest, but there's no extra encryption on top yet. So for now I'd keep passwords out of the slots and copy them the normal way, which the app never sees anyway.
And you read my mind on the app exclusion: that's coming in the next update. You'll be able to blocklist apps like your password manager so ⇧⌘C won't capture from them at all.
Anything else, just ask!
Finally a clipboard manager that feels built in. The global shortcut to bring up the nine slots is fast and the design matches macOS so well I forgot it was third party.

@meryemvfjh Thanks Meryem!!
Does the one-time purchase cover future macOS updates, or is that just for the current version?
