Select a few photos from a trip and Monolog does the rest: where you went, how long you were out, and plots every photo along the route. Add notes, voice memos, and workout data from your favorite wearable, and a camera roll becomes a trip log you'll actually revisit. There's no account, no signup, and no data collection. Every trip stays local on your phone. Your memories stay yours.

When I looked at the existing apps out there, there was a lot of forward facing and activity monitoring outdoor apps. AllTrails helps you find your next hike, Strava helps you share your activities with friends. But nothing that lets you look back on memories you already made, no apps that let your memories be memories without taking anything in exchange or storing your data.
I wanted to build the kind of app I grew up with, you opened it, it worked, and it didn't ask for anything in return. It's what I wanted Monolog to be, and it's what I'm going to keep building toward.
