Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built MoneyPulse because I kept failing at tracking my own expenses. I tried multiple expense tracking apps. In the beginning, I had the motivation to manually enter every transaction. But after a few days, I stopped. It became tedious. And once I stopped entering data, the app became useless. Then I tried automatic expense trackers. They worked — but there was a catch. Most of them require accounts, cloud sync, or store your financial data on their servers. That didn’t sit right with me. Bank SMS messages contain extremely sensitive information — where you spend, how much you earn, who you pay. So I asked myself: Why can’t expense tracking be both automatic and completely private? That question became MoneyPulse. Here’s how it works: • The moment your bank sends an SMS, it’s parsed automatically • The amount, merchant, and type are extracted • It’s categorized instantly • Everything is stored encrypted on your device No manual entry.
