Moji, l'application française pour apprendre le japonais et préparer le JLPT du N5 au N1. Vocabulaire, kanji, kana et grammaire avec répétition espacée (SRS) et widget d'écran de verrouillage. Gratuit pour commencer, sur iOS, Android et navigateur.
I built Moji because I was learning Japanese for the JLPT and kept hitting the same wall: I'd cram vocabulary, then forget most of it a week later. The apps I tried were either not in French, or turned studying into a daily chore I'd eventually skip.
So I focused on two things. First, a spaced-repetition engine that brings each word back right before you forget it — flashcards, multiple choice, and typed input. Second, the part I'm most proud of: a lock-screen widget that shows you a Japanese word every time you unlock your phone. You end up seeing dozens of words a day without opening the app at all.
Moji covers the full JLPT range (N5 to N1) — vocabulary, kanji, kana, and grammar — with everything explained in French. It works offline, syncs across devices, and it's free to start.
Would love your feedback, especially from anyone learning Japanese. What's been the hardest part of sticking with it for you? 🙏
