Congrats to Mindtrip platform for the release, I tried: https://mindtrip.ai/chat and got a description of my trip to Istanbul even with photos of locations, reviews, addresses and opening times! Great job!
@shivam_tiwari24 We do two things now:
(1) The user can update specific travel preferences in their profile
(2) The user can take a fun Travel Quiz https://mindtrip.ai/quiz and based on that Mindtrip creates a travel persona for them, and that travel persona is used to personalize how the Chat AI converses with you, what it recommends, etc.
Early feedback is that it works really well. In future, we will adapt and expand the travel persona based on what the user chats about, favorites, etc.

@frank_denbow the creator program is still
under development, but the goal is to offer a percentage of the booking revenue when a customer books any components of the trip you recommended.
This is absolutely unreal! I have just planned a trip around Japan, while asking for suggestions on when is best to go and what special events are coming up that I might want to schedule the trip around.
I'm wondering what will happen once I go on the trip. I'd love if I were be able to review each of the itinerary items, giving feedback on the suggestions so the next trip is even more tailored to my preferences!
@bethany_cutmore_scott Thanks and great to hear it! We currently have a very simple feature called "Up Next" which shows you, well, what's next on your itinerary. Our vision is to build a mobile app for your time "on trip" to help you stay on track or make adjustments on the fly. And we absolutely envision post-trip scrapbooking and reviews. So you are totally in line with where we are going.

I have a question - does the use of AI mean that recommendations will be based on popular places? I personally prefer relative unknown places to avoid the crowd. Can Mindrip recommend places like that?

As I am creating the itinerary, it randomly refreshes and messes up the order of the places, titles, activities, etc.
I was almost finishing my itinerary and it suddenly refreshed. All the things I spent hours organizing just got switched up. I have never left a review on anything, because I always assume my fault and I know that errors occur, but this one was just too bad.
Great example of an ai-first travel platform that pulls in the visual world of travel! Easy to use, beautiful photos, it even has guides where you can get inspired by someone else’s itinerary and customize it to make it your own. Love that you can also book hotels, flights and attractions right on the website.
I love their approach to the personalization engine. Often when planning a trip everyone gets the same recommendations. The fact that mindtrip's AI learns about me and my preferences and then plans a trip around ME is a real game changer.
