MindMythos is a free puzzle site for the tea-break brain. Word puzzles, logic puzzles and number puzzles - anagrams, sudoku, 2048, crosswords, flow, cross sums and more, all in one place. No signup, no ads, works on mobile and desktop. Built solo as a learning project and a love letter to good puzzles. New games added regularly. Come and play - and if you spot something to improve, I'd genuinely love to hear it.
MindMythos started from a small but persistent frustration: I love puzzles, but every time I went looking for somewhere to play one online, I ended up bouncing between sites smothered in ads, popups demanding I sign up, or apps that wanted my email before showing me a single grid. I just wanted to do a sudoku on my tea break. So I started building the puzzle site I actually wanted to use. Free, no signup, no ads, no nonsense - just puzzles, in your browser, on whatever device you've got handy. The bigger challenge was that I'm not a developer by background. I've been learning as I go, with a lot of help from Claude and Claude Code, figuring out the stack one piece at a time, Next.js on the front, Supabase for accounts and data, Vercel for hosting. Some puzzles (like sudoku and the crossword) get generated offline in Python because they need uniqueness checks before they can be published; others generate on the fly. Every puzzle type taught me something new about both puzzles and code. MindMythos is still early. There are three rooms so far - Word Zone, Logic Lab and Number Nebula - and more puzzles are on the way. The site will keep growing as I learn. I'd genuinely love your feedback. What works, what doesn't, what's missing, what puzzle types you'd want next - every comment shapes what I build. Be honest, even if it stings a bit. That's the only way it gets better. Thanks for taking a look 🧩
