Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Juan, product designer by day and tech house producer by night. I built MERITO after watching too many good artists lose a booking to a 14 MB PDF nobody opened. Here's what actually happens today: you have a Spotify link, an Instagram, three photos in a WhatsApp thread and two unreleased tracks on a private SoundCloud. Every time you pitch a promoter or a label, you rebuild it all by hand. Then you wait, with no idea whether anyone even pressed play. MERITO does two things: 1. Your press kit, one link. Paste your links and you get getmerito.com/yourname: players from Spotify, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube, Apple Music and Mixcloud, press photos, dates, quotes, bio and booking contact. It's built for the phone, because that's where promoters open it. 2. Demos that tell you what happened. Instead of one public link for everyone, you create one private link per label, each with its own password, recipient, message and download control. On Pro you see which label opened it, which track they played and for how long. So you follow up while your track is still in their head, not three weeks later with a "just checking in". Musicians: how do you know if a label actually listened to your demo?

Hey everyone, Juan here, maker of MERITO.

Something I keep hearing from artists: you send a demo to ten labels, hear back from one, and have no idea whether the other nine even pressed play. So the follow-up becomes a blind "just checking in" three weeks later.

That's the problem I've been building around. MERITO launches here on Wednesday 23 September, and before that I'd love to hear how you handle it today:

How do you send demos right now? Private SoundCloud, Dropbox, WeTransfer, something else?
Do you follow up? When, and how?
If you could see that a label played your second track for 90 seconds, would it change what you do next?
