Meridian is an open-source AI work journal that runs entirely on your device. It writes your work up in plain English as the day goes, so by the end of the day you have a summary of everything you did. Meridian automatically drafts your updates for your project management tools like Jira, ready to post once you approve them. Do the work. Let the remembering take care of itself. MIT-licensed, free.
end of busy day? did you get done what needed doing? no? what else did you get done or did you just get distracted on YouTube? meridian shows you your work day. I love the feeling of productivity!
I found Meridian especially interesting because I haven't seen another product that focuses on individual productivity tracking without being surveillance-based. That's what impressed me the most about it.
What needs improvement
If it starts tracking browser activity too, like what’s happening inside the browser and which websites are being visited, it could measure productivity much more accurately. I believe that’s already in the works.
@rohanrecommends Really appreciate the thoughtful review! We’re exploring browser activity as a way to improve accuracy without compromising Meridian’s privacy-first approach.
Meridiona has been really useful for self-reflection. It gives me accurate data on how I actually spend my time and helps me understand where I’m being productive and where I can improve.

The AI timeout during drafting has been fixed. Please try it again, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
