I am a big fan! I have been using Mem AI for a few months now, and I have to say that since the MCP integration, my life has changed a little bit. Everything is there now, and I’m just a question away from finding anything I need in both my professional and personal life.
I have tried many similar apps, but Mem was the perfect fit right away. btw, I barely use it for work. I mostly use it for personal stuff and it’s still worth every penny (but please don’t raise the prices!! lol)
Few improvements of course, but they are getting there. Performance is still not amazing, and they could really easy a faster search for exact keywords (not the deep search)
My only concern now is if the new features are only gonna come to the Upgraded membership.
I'm a Mem believer from the start, and I'm super excited to see it fully come alive now with the launch of Mem Agent. To me, it’s such a relief that, as my business scales, I now have a system that lets me keep track of where my clients are at - without having to build and maintain the system myself. It brings together the information that’s scattered across conversations and notes, so I don’t feel like I’m going to start dropping balls. Oh… and the fact that it helps me across all areas of life is such a win. Just one agent helping me manage it all, as a solopreneur and mum of three, is a lifesaver. I can simply talk to my phone and trust that Mem Agent has the context to process my short memos, thoughts, and to-dos I suddenly remember.
I have so many examples of how it improved my work and life. Let's share one more.
One routine that has changed dramatically since using Mem Agent is going for a walk around lunchtime. I wanted to build this routine for a long time, but I used to struggle to find the time during the day. Now, it’s much easier to actually go. My most creative ideas often come during these walks. Before Mem Agent, I would stop and type them into my phone, which led me to just continue working during my walk. Or I would come back from the walk and spend another half hour putting it all in the right place before I could get back to the rest of my day. Now I can keep walking, record a short voice memo, get it out of my head, enjoy the walk, and trust that Mem Agent will take care of the rest for me. That might read like a small change, but it has made a real difference to my health, my headspace, and my creativity.
You need some workarounds if you want to use your native language for voice notes and voice interactions with the agent. I have notes in different languages, and it processes them beautifully. I can chat with Mem Agent in both Dutch and English, no problem. It just can't transcribe Dutch meetings, and I can't talk to it in Dutch. My current workaround: I use Claude to import Dutch Fathom transcripts instead of using Mem to record the meetings. Also, I use iMessage. Given that my phone is configured in Dutch, the iMessage voice recorder transcribes my voicenote. Works for me.
I tried many solutions over the years: OneNote, Notion, Todoist, written notes on ReMarkable, basic folders,... And lately, of course, also ChatGPT and Claude. I was first drawn to Mem because it allowed me to capture about anything in a very natural and non-intrusive way. It's much more like my own brain works. I don't have to spend hours building folders and a structure, only to change it all again when the structure stops working or when I realize I still don't find some information I know is there. Mem Agent now is a lifesaver. It acts as a client success manager, household manager, knowledge broker, and personal coach, helping me monitor my personal health and relationship goals as well. I feel I'm only using a fraction of its full potential, so I'm excited to explore it further.
So, I’m writing this as someone with AuDHD as has tried a thousand different versions of apps that claim to help organise your life:
Mem Agent has helped me recover information that would otherwise have stayed buried. Instead of just surfacing a vague reference, it traces ideas back to their original source, and captures the useful context so they could actually be found and used later.
It has helped me keep real-world commitments alive across days and changing situations. Rather than treating a task as finished just because it was mentioned once, it keeps track of deadlines, waiting states, refunds, follow-ups, and unresolved decisions. I’m someone that needs to be checked in with because the executive dysfunction is real 😅.
It has reduced the friction of maintaining an online second brain. Whether I’m using the app, chat, or another connected platform (with multiple LLMs available), I can capture thoughts and commitments in the moment, and the agent turns that scattered input into something searchable, organised, and actionable, instead of leaving me to remember where I put it.
The dev team are actually open to feedback and have even implemented a couple of things I’ve suggested. Mem Agent is only a few steps away from being a very necessary part of my day to day life. When a product is like this, of which there are many viable options, I pick which to use based on the people behind the product. This is a good team that listens to their customers - that’s gets them loyalty from me.
**EDIT**
A couple of hours after posting, email connectors were released. This is what I mean about the devs listen to their customers! Happy to now upgrade this from a 4 star review to a 5 😊

The launch price, I think, is ever so slightly steep for someone who's more of a casual user who would take advantage of the benefits of the agent. Apart from that, though, you can't fault it. I'd like to point out this is only a step for the agent usage. The default app, I think, is incredibly well priced
Tried it for 20 minutes last year and never went back
I've tried them all. This is the one for me, as a writer who is knee-deep in notes, research, web clippings, project management, and composition daily. I did my entire last book (book 40) there and have two more moving forward. The AI agent takes the app to a new level. I spend zero time organizing everything, and not only is everything accessible, I can get a useful synthesis across my notes, making Mem a dedicated thought partner.
Apple watch integration
Super minimalist interface with all the back end I need.

Thanks for the long-time support, Michael!
