No one prepared me, that adulting means figuring out what to eat for dinner each day. Especially with a partner and kids. If this feels like torture to you, you're not alone. MealMe Learns what you and your loved ones like to eat and lets you swipe through meal ideas Tinder style, so you can match on meals for the week.

👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Ferdi, the solo founder of MealMe, and today I’m finally sharing something I’ve been building (and using every day with my partner):
MealMe, the first swipe-based meal planning app for couples and families.
Meal planning sounds simple… but in real life it’s one of the most exhausting parts of adult life.
You know what you like, you know what you’ve cooked before, yet every week you end up in the same conversation:
“So… what do we eat this week?”
That weekly mental load is exactly why I built MealMe.
My partner and I wanted an easier way to look through the meals we already enjoy and decide together, without the back-and-forth, without the guesswork, and without spending half an hour trying to think of ideas.
Here’s how MealMe works:
Instead of planning meals manually, you swipe through your past meals together, just like Tinder.
You both swipe yes/no, and MealMe instantly builds your wishlist based on what you both liked.
It makes something stressful to something fun.
You can:
🍽 Swipe-to-Plan: decide in seconds, not minutes
📅 Get an automatic weekly plan based on your shared likes
🤝 Plan together in real time with CloudKit syncing
📚 Keep a history of meals you actually enjoy
✨ Use the generous free tier
We wanted MealMe to fit naturally into everyday life, something that reduces friction, reduces decision fatigue, and helps couples and families feel more aligned during the week and spend less time on chores.
It’s been a game-changer in our own household, and I hope it helps yours too.
I’d love to know what you think, or share a meal you love and I’ll show you how MealMe would turn it into part of a weekly plan.
Chers,
Ferdi
