MARVIS is Music Artist Rights Virtual Intelligence: a private operating system for publishing, PRO registrations, DSP policy, royalties, copyright, neighboring rights, sync, and AI-music rules.
After chatting with a fellow music industry professional last week and reflecting on the challenges I face as an artist manager, I decided to launch a side project: MARVIS (Music Artist Rights Virtual Intelligence System).
MARVIS is a live music-rights dashboard that tracks PRO, DSP, royalty, copyright, and AI-policy changes that can affect artists. Its Live Scanner covers 90 days of industry updates and opens primary sources directly, while the Territories directory maps collection and rights information across 47 major music markets. It also helps organize catalogue details, song splits, registrations, and practical next steps in one place.
This is an operating tool, not legal advice, so important decisions should always be confirmed with the relevant primary source. I’ll continue improving MARVIS over time.
If you work in music, check it out and bookmark it. If not, still let me know what you think in the comments 😁
