MaPa Money is a private, local-first personal finance app built to track how money actually moves. Manage income, expenses, transfers, credit cards, EMIs, borrowing, lending and repayments in one place. Transfers between your own accounts aren't treated as spending, while statements, commitments and remaining repayments stay visible. No forced login or bank connection—just clear money tracking with analytics and insights.
I started building MaPa Money because I wanted personal finance tracking to reflect what actually happens to money, not just classify everything as income or expense.
Moving money between my own accounts shouldn't become spending. Lending money shouldn't simply disappear from my financial picture. Credit card purchases and bill payments are different events, and EMIs and repayments have a lifecycle.
That idea gradually became MaPa Money — a private, local-first app for tracking income, expenses, transfers, credit cards, EMIs, borrowing, lending, repayments and financial commitments together.
Privacy was also important from the beginning, so the app is designed without forcing users to create an account or connect their bank.
This is an early stage for MaPa Money, and I'm especially interested in learning where the experience is confusing, what users find genuinely useful, and what would make it better for everyday use.
Thanks for checking it out!
