Hi Product Hunters! I’m Armin, co-creator of MakerWidget! It’s a little widget you can put on your project pages to show who you are, where to find you and what you did before. My partner Melanie and I wanted to make ourselves more visible on our side project pages, so we tried to elaborate on @levelsio idea of a maker badge! You can easily set up your own widget on makerwidget.com for free and just grab your embed code! It supports multiple makers, custom link lists and a project gallery. Being a team of two makers ourselves, we focused a lot on flexibility 💪 I ship-streamed the development of this widget on Twitch, and will also be live today. You can watch me on shipstreams.com! We are working on different projects and I was looking for a way to showcase them in a subtle way. Love the fact it's designed for solo & team of makers.

This is a great tool for cross promotion & personal brand building. I've been pondering to build a widget for myself but never got time to work on it –– This saved me a ton of time & was really easy to setup. Kudos @arminulrich & @_feloidea for the lunch. 👏 This 👏 product 👏 ROCKS 👏 I love that: 1) It's wildly easy to use and customize 2) It works for individuals and teams 3) It can be totally usable at the free tier 4) There's a clear reason to upgrade as you become more successful 5) The idea is something I desperately want but didn't know I wanted before I saw it.
