Hey Product Hunt! We're a group of hackers and artists who were so bored with the same old icon grid layout, so we created Makeovr to patch the iPhone's biggest missing feature- homescreen customization. After 15,000 user uploads and 25,000 custom art downloads in the first week, we are starting to work with brands to create funky backgrounds to help them engage with customers right from the home screen. Clever hack to get around an artificial limitation in iOS. The betaworks report from #Homescreen shows there is pent up demand for this type of customization on iPhones. Now you don't have to Jailbreak to get it!

This is really clever! It would be really neat if there were an app that could setup your homescreen and take advantage of Makeovr to install these fast.

This is so fun. I thought of the invisible icons once, but this is totally pushing it to a limit. Smart hack!
