Cline is simply the best AI coding agent out there. Part of my team's job is to test them all, and the Cline / Roo paradigm is great, and has been shaping the industry for the last 6 months, hence why Claude Code and other are copying them. The single alternative is Claude Code, but you can only use their. models, which are not currently SOTA, and it would be a mistake to bet that they will be SOTA all the time in the future.
