This is hilarious. The website says it's a combo of social media complaints and data from the carriers -- what if companies start juicing those sources to look better on the chart?

So losing bags is actually pretty rare?
This shows that basically any flight in North America has under a 1% chance of missing luggage.
And for the large carries, itβs less than half of that.
I really love the timing of this launch. News related to this is currently going viral on instagram's meme pages. Was the launch scheduled and everything was coincidence or was it advanced because of virality?

Love the product. I saw a recent launch called BoingBeGone which was a flight finder that excluded Boing flights. These products could go very will together!
Congratulations on the launch! How does this work on the backend? Where is data coming from? This looks very interesting π Would be cool to see the historical charts of how things were changing over time.
The live ranking of airlines by luggage loss is a unique and useful tool for travelers.
How frequently is the data updated, and what sources do you use to track the luggage loss?
Congrats on the launch!
