I wanted to build something that felt like home—where you learn Lingala not just through textbook drills, but by understanding the deep history behind 'Indépendance Cha Cha' or the hospitality embedded in the concept of 'Teranga.' LOBA is more than an app; it's a movement for African linguistic sovereignty. We are building the dataset and the community to ensure our voices define the future of technology in Africa.
