Six years after graduation, I decided to start building again.

I didn’t have a big business plan.

I didn’t have a team.

I didn’t even know where this project would take me.

I simply wanted to improve my coding skills.

So I started a small study project a simple link shortener.

At the beginning, lkmr.in was just an experiment. Something I was building to learn, practice, break things, fix them, and become a better developer.

But slowly, something unexpected happened.

That small project kept growing.

I added analytics.

Custom links.

QR codes.

Link management.

Security features.

Dynamic capabilities.

And many other features I never imagined adding when I wrote the first lines of code.

One year later, I'm looking at my GitHub contribution graph and realizing how far this little idea has come.

It's no longer just a study project.

It's now a real SaaS product that I'm proud to put out into the world.

Today, I'm launching LinkMaster lkmr.in on Product Hunt.

My goal is simple:

Build a powerful link management platform that can genuinely compete with much bigger products like Bitly, Rebrandly, and Dub while continuing to learn, improve, and build something people actually find useful.

And honestly, this launch means more to me than just launching a product.

Because if LinkMaster succeeds, it will mean something very personal to me:

I had an idea.

I chose to build it.

I stayed with it.

I learned along the way.

And I brought it into the real world completely as a solo developer.

After six years away from graduation, this is my way of proving to myself that I can still start from zero and build something meaningful.

I don't know how far LinkMaster will go.

Maybe it will become a huge product.

Maybe it won't.

But either way, I'm incredibly happy that I started.

One idea. One developer. One year of building. And now, launch day.
