A real light meter when you carry film, and a film camera when you don't. Film looks built on true RAW capture - grain, halation and color that behave like film, not a filter on a flat photo. No AI, no account, nothing leaves your phone.

I shoot film. The annoying part was never the camera, it was the metering: either you carry a second device, or you use a phone app that gives you a number you don't quite trust.
So I built the meter I wanted. Then I realised the phone in my hand was already a camera, and the film-camera apps I'd tried were all doing the same thing — taking a flat, fully-processed phone photo and painting grain on top of it. That's why they look like a filter.
Lightmeter develops its film looks out of true RAW capture instead. Grain, halation and color behave the way the stock behaves, because there's actual sensor latitude underneath to work with.
Two modes, one app:
— Meter mode: reflected-light metering for the camera around your neck. Push/pull ISO, spot readings.
— Camera mode: pick a stock and shoot. Every frame saves to Photos with its film, aperture, shutter, ISO and focal length attached, and you can restyle it onto a different stock later without destroying the original.
No AI anywhere in the pipeline. No account, no cloud, nothing leaves the device - which also means I can't see your photos, which is how I wanted it.
The camera and meter are free. Plus unlocks the full film library, RAW capture, borders and icons.
It's a solo project and it's two weeks old, so it's rough in places.

@goelaakash79 I like the concept and the film stock presets!
I downloaded the app but my first photo forced an in-app purchase and there's no apparent way to continue without paying. <edit: IAP triggers when you use a premium film stock. that was confusing but choosing a non-plus film works fine without paying>
