@darrylhan Great concept, Darrly! The UI/UX just needs a bit more polishing, remove the distracting elements and let the content speak for itself. It’ll be amazing! Congrats on the launch.
LFG (v2.0)
@dineshan_sithamparanathan thanks for the feedback! could you share which elements you found distracting? i definitely have some in mind already, wanted to see if it might align with you!
@darrylhan Your third slide in the Product Hunt launch has a neat design. The main issues are the overuse of the brand color across too many elements and the golden icons. Too many colors, icons, and excessive use of the primary color make it feel cluttered.
LFG (v2.0)
@dineshan_sithamparanathan thanks for this - and agreed tbh. optimizing this discovery feed will definitely be part of our next iteration! not as simple as it seems!
That's great! Travel and music are inseparable. It's such a pleasant experience when a specific song reminds you of a particular travel destination. Would you recommend any places in Korea? And huge congratulations on your launch! 🎉
LFG (v2.0)
@kay_arkain agreed about travel&music being inseparable. We actually started making our own actual Spotify playlists too! For Korea, check out this Placelist i made based on my last trip: justlfg.co/placelist/clmjc039s0000l408sdlztyzr ~ hope you enjoy!

Is it possible that some countries are not listed? I typed there "Malta" and it showed me Malaysia.
LFG (v2.0)
We mainly focus our content in Asia for now. That could be the reason.
Remember, we work on user-generated content, so once you (or someone else0 add places in Malta, it'll be available for the rest!
Very cool 😃 I have a lot of trouble trying to organize all my travel inspo on Instagram so this could be an alternative! Personally I would like to have a short description of each of the places though (in addition to the comments from users, of course), just to give a better idea if it's a restaurant, bar, club, market, etc and what they specialize in... Perhaps you could pull in that one line description that businesses put on their Google Maps listing. Travel planning definitely needs an upgrade, so I hope you guys succeed!
LFG (v2.0)
Thank you! Amazing feedback btw - great idea to generate one-line summaries of all the places. We can probably start by summarizing the Google reviews and other sites, once we get more comments on our platform we can infuse that too :D
@darrylhan Love it! Good luck!!!
All the best for the launch @darrylhan & team!

@parekh_tanmay thank you!
Congrats on the launch!
I love the visual approach, I hope more places in Europe get listed in the future.
Just a thought, it could be cool to select a few places and see an overview of where they are on a map. That way, users can easily decide which ones are the most convenient to visit.
Wishing you all the best with LFG 2.0!

@morgane_prr thanks for the feedback! i'd love to see more europe too from our community ;D we started more focused on Asia content first, based that's where we're based. hopefully once we reach more into the european market, we'll have some amazing recommendations there - but i believe there's a few already like Libson, Madrid, Barcelona.
Map feature is definitely next in our roadmap - there's a lot we can do with maps now that we have more places listed. But would you prefer the map to be in an app experience though (vs. web)?
thanks@darrylhan ! That makes sense! I actually only checked Vienna (Austria) since that’s where I’m based. Excited to see how the platform grows in Europe!
As for the map feature, I think having it on both the web portal and the app would be great! By the way, do you already have an app, or is that something planned for later?

This is such a refreshing take on travel discovery! The mix of Pinterest-style visuals with Spotify-like personalization makes so much sense, travel is just as much about curating experiences as it is about exploring new places. I love the idea of 'placelists', it feels way more intuitive than random saved pins or scattered notes.
Congrats on the launch!
Best wishes and sending lots of wins to the team :) @darrylhan

@whatshivamdo appreciate the kind comment! hope you have a great experience with the platform, although we know there's a lot more room to improve!
