Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mohammed, and I built LessonCues. It started with a small annoyance. I kept sending people YouTube links with "skip to 4:12, watch till about 5:30". Nobody stops at 5:30. YouTube used to have a Clip feature for exactly this, and it's gone. So I rebuilt it, and then kept going: 🎯 Clip the exact moment. Paste a link and drag the start and end (or press I and O while it plays). You get a short link that plays just that part and stops, or loops. 🔁 Practise it. Slow it to 0.7×. Repeat it 10 times. Add a 3-second pause after each loop so you can play it back. Or turn on the speed trainer: it starts slow and speeds up a little on every loop until you're at full tempo. Made with musicians and language learners in mind. 📚 Turn clips into lessons. Mix clips from different videos with your own text, Google Slides and full videos. Present it full screen in class with a clicker, show a QR code so students can open it on their phones, or print a handout with a QR code for every clip. A few more things I'm proud of: Notes on clips, where timestamps like 1:32 jump the video to that moment Side-by-side compare, for coaching technique Comments pinned to moments in a clip Embeds, and sharing to Google Classroom What it doesn't do: download anything. Every clip plays in YouTube's own player, so creators keep their views and credit. We only save the video ID and your timestamps. It's free, and you don't need an account to make your first clip. (Clips made without signing in are deleted after 30 days; sign in with Google to keep them.) I'd love to hear how you'd use it, and what's missing. I read every comment.
