My Problem: I ordered a pair of replacement lenses for my sunglasses and the lenses I received are disappointing at best. I ordered red mirrored lenses for sunglasses and got lenses that are barely dark and don’t really count as sunglasses without a red mirror finish. I wish I could say the customer experience was a decent one, however I had problems with the order from the start. Best option to get it fixed is to send them back and wait another month for my lens to be corrected, and I need to verify my measurements at a local eye physician to ensure the prescription is correct. Side note I have a pair of normal glasses for inside use with the same prescription from a local place that are great. At this point I wish I never placed my order and went to Costco for new lenses and frames of what I wanted at half the price of these lenses. Concerns and Problems with the order: I ordered lens on August 30th and sent the frames with old lens using the label provided On September 6th tracking indicated that they package was delivered Notified that my package was lost Once they found the box a few days later, I was notified they had lost my sunglasses because it was separated from the box Informed after multiple phone calls to look at the new pair of replacement lenses This was incorrect because they found my sunglasses in the box at the lab, shipment processing mistake I was repeatedly contacted because I was missing information on my order for prescription and measurements Upon calling several times when notified to remedy the missing information I was told the information was already on the order I had supplied everything in the order at the time of purchase I had to retake my photos and send it to the customer service person Finally on September 26th I got my sunglasses back, and what a heartbreaking disappointment The lens don’t really qualify as sunglasses, barely any dark tint and I have seen early transitions darker then these lenses The red mirror finish I requested wasn’t present, barely a red tint to them Perception was incorrect due to probably wrong measurements Customer service states they are sorry it will take another 3 weeks to 1 month to correct the lens, this is assuming that all of the previous problems don’t surface again So I’m out my favorite pair of sunglasses and I medically need to operate outside, which for anyone without that fact still sucks I have to go to back to the eye physician in order to get measurements for the lens What is the point of this service then?

I sent in a pair of sunglasses for the company to put in prescription lenses on 3/19/2022. The order was delayed and I did not receive the glasses until 4/14/2022. The glasses came with a defect in one of the lenses. The company website claims the glasses go through a full inspection before they are sent out. This obviously did not happen. I contacted the company right away and asked for a refund. I was told they do not issue refunds and I would have to send the glasses back for a redo. I sent the glasses back on 5/3/2022. I did not hear from them and I had to contact them and was told they are still in the redo process. Being this has gone on for over two months I again asked for a refund since they originally sent the glasses out without inspection and I was denied a refund again. I do not want anything from this company. I want a refund and my sunglasses back to spend my hard-earned money on a more reliable and honest company.

Really bad exprience as othere already mentioned. They broke my frame in the first time and ordered a new pair and just keep me waiting. They always say they care about transparency but everything is fishy. Will never come back to this shithold again.

The CSR named "Marky" is one of the worst reps i've ever dealt with - absolutely uselessly incompetent, rude, and never follows through on any promises of follow-ups. Horrible. She desperately needs to be disciplined/fired. I am still waiting on an update on my order from over 1 month ago. This place is a joke.

Poor communication and, though they claim"transparency," customers do have to chase after them for an answer to questions. In my case, like many other customers, unacceptably slow shipping and production time. It took nearly 6 weeks from order to delivery to get my order for progressive lens replacement. I had ordered from them previously without a problem so had the confidence to order again. Big mistake, which I do not plan on repeating. Issues, in order of importance: 1. My lenses failed inspection THREE separate times. I understand ensuring quality with a delivered product, but I have never had this happen with a lab order through an optical store. Three fails is a red flag in my book. .This is not really about the slow production time. Lenses shouldn't fail inspection three separate times. Wish I could upload the document I received from their support team that shows the three fails. 2. Yes, production time was an issue. I wanted new glasses for a series of job interviews and for a vacation. Needless to say, I did not have them. I work in a field that does rely upon image and in the end the savings were not worth it--I needed the glasses for a reason and they did not deliver within a reasonable amount of time. DO NOT ORDER from them if you expect reasonable production cycles or need your glasses or lenses for a specific reason, as I did. 3. Their promise of "transparency" is kind of a scam. Why tell me that my lenses had failed inspection and not tell me....for the 2nd time? Or the 3rd time? At that point I would have wanted to cancel, and with good reason! No one from customer service (and note that you cannot message them on Twitter and they will not reliably respond to messages left on their support Vmail) notified me that there were multiple failures! They really need to make exceptions to their refund policies if, for instance, there are more than two inspection failures. That, IMO, is not acceptable for any consumer product. I get that orders for replacement lenses are, by nature, custom and not refundable but, as I say, there should be an opportunity for the buyer to back out with a reasonable refund if lenses failed inspection three or more times! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They completely made the glasses wrong and did not include the tech add I ordered. If you did order, Take them to your eye doctor and have them verified! Complete waste of money!

Overall not a good experience and I will not be using them in the future or recommend them to anyone.

Issues I faced:

* The wait time: It took FOREVER to get my glasses back (note: I was on the East coast, so if you are in the West coast, your shipping experience probably won't be as long). But for me, it took almost 1 month to get my glasses back. It took over a week for the box to ship for me to put my glasses in. It then took a week to ship it back. The glasses just sat around the Lensabl office for another week, and finally it took another week to ship back.

* They DID NOT follow instructions: I requested the original lenses in the glasses be sent back with the new ones that they were being replaced with. Only one of my original lenses came back. I sent in an inquiry to let them know that one of my lenses had been lost and have yet to get a response. I sent in a second inquiry and still waiting for a reply.

* Communication was not good: I kept having to send in inquiries proactively to inquire into the status of my glasses. I wanted them to be more proactive in letting me know where the glasses were or note any delays.

* Edges are not polished: I don't recall even seeing an option for polishing the edges, but my glasses came back with unpolished edges, and I hate the unrefined look of them (I'm going to have to take the glasses into a local optical shop to get the edges polished). I ordered one of the most expensive lenses on Lensabl, so I expected polished edges, but sadly this was not the case.

I would do zero stars if possible. Sent in four frames, got one back over a month later. Status on site said all were sent back. I submitted tickets and finally someone got back to me saying that three of the frames broke in the process. These frames were hard to get from dleyeware.com (five stars!) and we ended up going back and forth and they said if I repurchased they would send the money to my paypal. I did get the money for the frames eventually . . . Now I've been trying to get a refund on the lenses as I don't want to go through this again and they keep closing out my tickets without responding. Horrible!!! @andybilinsky -- hire real customer service, a good lab and be less of a crook!

You order and expect a flawless delivery of your glass within three weeks as they state. They send half finished orders within maybe two months, when you complain (like I did) that they forgot to polish the edges (even though the assured you a quality check before anything is sent out), they ask you to send them back and then you never hear from them again until you complain. I have not had my glasses returned to me in over a month. I would never use them again and I will not recommend them at all.

This company is horrible! They stole my money by putting the wrong lens in my glasses frames. Customer service don't care about the customer. Save your time and money and go somewhere local to take care of you glasses needs. I really hope they go out of business because they are the biggest scammers I ever seen. I plan to report then to BBB. .
