Apify is where my loops get their contact with the real world.
Several Lamoom apps are only useful because something reliable is fetching real
pages - job boards and company signals for the outbound loop, forum and Reddit
threads for the one that hunts customer pain. I don't want to own scrapers. I
want to own the reasoning that runs on top of them, and Apify is the reason I
get to.

Lamoom is a marketplace of agent apps, and the apps run inside the user's own
Claude. So Claude isn't a dependency for us — it's the runtime.
The thing that made the product possible: the model is now good enough to be
handed a folder of rules and files and trusted to follow them across a
twenty-step run, writing its own output to disk as it goes. Two years ago that
run would have fallen apart in the middle and I'd have had no way to sell it to
anyone.

I build Lamoom in Claude Code, and I teach Claude Code for a living, so I've
watched it work for a few hundred hours now.
One pattern changed my architecture: subagents that write files as they go,
instead of holding everything in context and handing back a wall of text. Every
app on my marketplace is now a loop that leaves a paper trail — reasoning,
intermediate data, outputs, all on disk. If a run dies halfway, the work is
still there. I didn't design that on paper. I copied it from watching this tool.
MCP is also the reason my apps can run on a user's own machine instead of mine.
