Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Duane, a software developer from Malta, and Kwip is what I've been building instead of sleeping. The problem: Malta is about 27km end to end, and yet getting a parcel from a small online shop to a customer here is genuinely painful. Couriers want you to commit to a cut-off time, upload a CSV manifest, and hit a monthly volume before they'll talk to you. Then the van shows up when it shows up, the customer isn't home, and the shop owner is the one apologising. So I built the software first and the courier second. What's actually different: Pickups are gated on readiness, not on a deadline. There is no cut-off. You book a slot when the order is packed. Slots come from real route capacity computed against the driver's calendar, so if there's no van left today the system tells you instead of promising and failing. Pricing is a ladder, not a quote. €3.99 ex VAT per drop, and every surcharge is exactly €1: extra parcel, oversized, payment on delivery, Gozo, ID-confirmed handover. You can work out what a delivery costs before you speak to anyone. Rates are effective-dated in the database, so a price change is always future-dated and never re-prices a delivery you already booked. Arrival windows are two-sided. We never arrive after the window, and never before it either. They start wide and narrow as the route firms up. Recipients get WhatsApp nudges with quick replies, which kills dead trips before the van drives. Proof of delivery is a photo of the parcel. Never a face, never an ID document. Under eIDAS a doorstep signature squiggle is a simple electronic signature with no presumption of authenticity, so a photo plus a barcode scan plus GPS makes a narrower claim we can actually stand behind. No contract, no monthly minimum, two free retries, and if we lose or damage a parcel we refund your cost of the goods up to €100. Stack is a Laravel API with a Next.js frontend, Postgres holding the zone polygons, running on Laravel Cloud. Right now it's one van, one driver, and that driver is me. The model is built multi-vehicle and multi-hub but it runs in its one-of-everything form, which turned out to be a useful forcing function: if the software can't dispatch for one guy without me babysitting it, it was never going to work for thirty.
