Koala connects companies looking for research participants with people who are looking to earn some extra money telling those companies what they think of their designs/products/services. So those companies are the ones who pay the testers $60/hour, which from my experience seems to be a pretty standard rate for research honorariums. So our margins are being made on giving these companies access to the service. But as it's in beta at the moment, we can safely say that our margins are non-existent :)
