Hi there Product Hunt 😻 @andresegut and @adlerfaulkner here. KnowledgeOS is Marie Kondo for your browser. It helps you get to what you need more quickly and easily and helps you keep your workspace organized. Work faster, work smarter with KnowledgeOS. Some of the main features include: āœ… A Superhuman-like command bar / search bar that can be opened over any tab. Easily perform actions like saving a website or sending a website to a colleague with just a couple keyboard presses. āœ… Powerful tab management: safely close any window and easily get back to it without ever worrying about losing data. Name your windows/groups of tabs by project or client and share them as you see fit. āœ… Never bookmark anything again: Automatic classification of your tabs, history, and saved resources by type (e.g., file, news article, person's profile, etc.). āœ… Supercharged search, powered by your own personal knowledge graph that you build passively while you work. āœ… Local storage of your most sensitive data: Your browsing history and saved tabs are only stored on your device, āœ… All of this is free forever. āœ… Option to back up your data to the cloud and sync it across devices (premium feature). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! šŸ’” Important: In a few weeks, we will be making KnowledgeOS available via self-serve, but for now and in the interest of meeting you all and making sure you have the best experience, Adler and I are going to be personally onboarding each of you for the next month! We have several slots available per day. In order to book a slot just sign up on https://web.comake.io/ and we will send out the scheduling link at the end of each of day to people who signed up. šŸ’” Alternatively - you can book an onboarding here: https://demodesk.com/book/comake... Let's do this! -Andres + Adler

In the interest of providing a bit more background... For the past 5 and half years we have been doing a deep dive on how we can better link data across various Apps and systems and we are super excited to introduce ourselves to the PH community. We are deeply interested in collaboratively making (aka ā€œComakingā€) an open protocol and a standard with you all for how data can be easily ingested from anywhere, linked/de-duped/interrelated, stored in one or more databases or knowledge graphs, and then accessed by different systems regardless of the underlying source. Tim Berners Lee gave a TED talk several years ago (https://youtu.be/OM6XIICm_qo) that is somewhat related and makes the case for creating these open standards and the need continues to increase every day! Through our research we have created more than a dozen patents/patents-pending and in the coming weeks and months we will be starting to share and even open source a lot of what we’ve learned and done. We would love to bring you all into this process as we collaboratively invent the future of data-linking for private work. We believe what we are pursuing is fundamentally antithetical to building a closed system or even to pursuing a one-solution-fits-all approach. Especially when more and more of you are releasing products with enterprise / work graphs! We can’t tell you how much we look forward to engaging with all of you on these topics. In light of that, we are also launching a Discord community today to help us foster this community which you can join here: https://discord.gg/qEnRpdTs2v. We are already working on developing more materials to help communicate the vision of KnowledgeOS (https://youtu.be/N_m0nWXeCvY - WIP video), including many of the big breakthroughs that we've had but that are not in the product yet / ready for deployment at scale. We can’t wait to go along for this ride with you all!

@andresegut @adlerfaulkner Congratulations on the launch! KnowledgeOS could be addressing the need-gap: 'I forget my web bookmarks quite often' posted on my problem validation platform - https://needgap.com/problems/57-... . You're welcomed to explain how KnowledgeOS addresses that problem, So those who need it can find it easily.
Andres Gutierrez
@adlerfaulkner @abishek_muthian Sure thing - glad you're asking this question. The same applies to more than bookmarks, but really all your work. How do you surface things that need doing, things that you put aside for later, relevant things that have been done. That's a core part of KnowledgeOS. If you bookmark or save anything in KnowledgeOS you don't just save it in one place. Instead it automatically gets connected to a lot of related data such as related App, related data-type, and more. Therefore any time you are looking at something, you can easily see all your related data, including your saved bookmarks!

I love KnowledgeOS! Cant wait for it to automatically classify and organize all my design precedents and materials
Andres Gutierrez
@mei_lan_tan Thank you Mei Lan! Grateful for your support. In about a month KnowledgeOS will be automatically classifying any architecture precedent you look at and help you keep track of the materials you are researching much more effectively!
Scott Williams
@andresegut How does Comake differ from Workona?
Andres Gutierrez
@scottwwilliams Thanks for asking Scott. Great question. We are different in a few important ways: 1. Spotlight- and Superhuman-like overlay that can open over any tab in order to show you relevant contextual information such as other files related to the App that you are currently working on, an slack conversation that references the article you are currently reading, etc. Of course you can also do basic actions from here like start a call, create a new doc, change or move tabs, save resources, etc. 2. Privacy and security as a core feature: In Workona everything is stored in the cloud and you need to trust them. KnowledgeOS lets you store your data on your device if you want. You don't need to trust us to "not be evil" or worry about us getting hacked because you can keep your history and tabs record on your device. 3. Pricing: We don't believe that tab management should be paid. KnowledgeOS gives you tab management as powerful as Workona without having to pay $7 or $15 / month. Our core premium features are focused around advanced data-linking across all your apps and devices so that you can always see related emails, projects, tasks, contacts and more around any website or file that you are viewing on the screen. These technologies are backed by 12 patents/patents-pending. You can read more about this here: https://www.comake.io/guide/subs... 4. Knowledge Graph for free: Even without upgrading, KnowledgeOS will help build a powerful Knowledge Graph for you as you work. In other words, if Workona is Google Docs, then KnowledgeOS is Roam Research. Some of the basic value adds provided by this Knowledge Graph include: easily being able to see all your data by type (e.g., all my files), you have open across all windows, Apps, browsing history, and saved resources. Hope this helps. In the coming weeks and months many of these differentiations will become increasingly apparent as we release the next set of Knowledge-Graph-based features which are built over these foundations. Happy to discuss it with you further if you like.
Scott Williams
