@topaz_tee Hi Topaz, It's already in the plan!
It's my first Mac app and I'm not very familiar with Mac App Store's sandbox mechanism right now. So it's much easier to release the Non Mac App Store version at first. For now, Knotes is code signed with my developer certificates issued by Apple but not sanboxed. After I finished the details of working with sanbox, the Mac App Store version will be submitted soon!
Also, distribute outside Mac App Store enables me to provide free trial version for users!
So Knotes will be sold on both Mac App Store and our store in the future.
Browsing kindle highlights and notes is terrible on https://kindle.amazon.com/your_h.... Although I think many of my notes are also from Audible books, so might need to wait until this is hooked up with the web service.
Viewing and sharing highlights from Kindle is a pain and Knotes looks like a great way to do that. I like that you've decided to go web app. Does it make sense to have a goodreads integration on the app (already comes with the Amazon account?) and show UGC from friend circles - richer perspective about the books listed? Or want to just restrict to highlights?
@tmatthewj Hi Matthew, thank you! In the near future, Knotes will focus on being an efficient clippings manager. There are so many long wanted features including better exporting, syncing to knowledge database(eg. Evernote), hook up to the web service, post-edit etc. Goodreads has already been integrated with Kindle and works very well. It also shows UGC from friend circles. So I think that maybe Knotes won't integrate Goodreads in the future.
@dukewan Agreed. It's just that all the integrations on Kindle appear to be a lot of effort. I would just want to use it for reading :-/.

Hello there, still no plans to integrate with the web service?
Stumbled upon this and loved the look and easiness but only one thing stops me from buying, that you still don't have the web service integration yet
