Hi PH fam! I'm so excited to share KeyVid AI with you all. 🎉 Our Backstory: As a product designer, my life revolved around video content, tutorials, user interviews, usability tests, and meetings. I was drowning in hours of footage with a major problem: the tools meant to help me work with these videos were missing crucial data. They were (and still are) literally blind to the visual content. I spent countless hours manually scrubbing timelines to find key moments and actions taken within videos that the audio and transcripts are blind to, and even when using video summarizers and related tools, I missed vital visual cues like: the user's confused expression, that moment of hesitation before a click, or an important diagram on a shared screen to name a few. The summaries and transcripts only told me what was said, not what was seen. That's when I realized our tools were blind and video content wasn't as accessible as we thought. I built KeyVid AI to solve that problem. So what is it? KeyVid AI is the solution. It's an AI that doesn't just listen to the audio; it sees every part of your video. It understands the visual content, the objects, on-screen actions, visual changes, facial expressions, emotional states, and physical actions that happens within the video.
