Keplers is fantastic because it finally fixes the pain every builder faces with email. Instead of wrestling with DNS records, deliverability issues, or clunky dashboards, you get a clean, developer‑first workflow that just works. The setup is insanely fast, the API is straightforward, and the delivery speed is genuinely impressive. What stands out most is how transparent everything feels; every email, every log, every event is visible in real time. It is the kind of tool that removes friction instead of adding it, which is exactly what you want when you’re building and shipping fast.

What needs improvement

Keplars is already solid, but there are a few areas where it could get even better. I’d love to see deeper analytics around engagement, like device breakdowns or more advanced segmentation for marketing emails. A few more native integrations with tools like Zapier, Notion, or Airtable would also make onboarding smoother for non‑technical teams. And while the dashboard is clean, adding more customization options for templates and workflow automation would take it to the next level. None of these are blockers, but they’re the kind of refinements that would make an already great product feel even more complete.

I have used the usual suspects: SendGrid, Mailgun, Resend, Postmark, and they all work, but they come with friction. Either the setup is slow, the dashboards feel dated, or deliverability becomes a guessing game. What's great

It solves a very real problem most email tools ignore

You actually get clear visibility into what happens after sending not just basic metrics

Also love how transactional and marketing emails are handled in one place with simple workflows

What needs improvement

Would be great to see even more advanced analytics insights as the product evolves

What's great

Clean product, clear thinking behind it. Contact-based pricing is one of those things that sounds fine until your list grows and suddenly you're paying for 50,000 contacts when only 8,000 of them have opened anything in the last six months. Paying per email sent feels more honest. Well done.

vs Alternatives

The combined transactional and marketing setup in one place also removes a genuine headache for smaller teams that don't want to maintain two separate integrations
