Waste of time, literally takes two hours to load a video and when the video is finally ready there is a problem again... fix this terrible thing

Kapwig has one of the best auto transcription services for videos. The auto-generated subtitles make adding subtitles so easy!

I would've normally rated this as a 5*, however Kapwing has severely gone downhill over time. Kapwing was well known as an easy-to-use browser editor that had no watermarks. However, they would later make it so that only you can only export the 1st three edits you make per month without a watermark, unless you buy their premium. This easily killed the community they had built as you can now literally just use any of their other competitors instead. Not only that, but the prices for premium are ridiculous. $24 a month or $16 a month if you go with the annual plan. They keep on removing more and more basic features without any warning so why even pay for this if you get barely anything to work with? Projects are only open for 2 days after you open them (if you don't have their premium) which makes the window of time you can actually work super short. They even publicly leak your content. I used Kapwing because it was convenient but these recent changes over the past few months are the complete opposite of what made the editor well liked. They drove away their fans and supporters. tldr; extremely annoying to use if you dont have their premium, premium is overpriced, they leak your stuff, literally just use your money on a better editor

I love Kapwing so much. I've been using it for at least 3 years to help make my reviews more accessible. I love love love their team and their attitude too. The worst part is once in a while there's a glitch, like a video takes too long to render or the captions don't load, or the final edited video will glitch at the end. But that's extremely rare and I always chaulk it up to their newness. Also happy to report those glitches and they always listen!

Review of Kapwing
Kapwing failed to import my video clips, refused to place them on the track when I finally got them through after many tries, and generally did not fulfill any of the very straightforward functions that I was seeking. Its spectacular glitchiness is aggravated by singularly grating customer service. "I'm sorry to hear you feel Kapwing wasn't what you were looking for!" Yeah, it sure wasn't—I was looking for something that worked.
