We built Kalcend after seeing how messy WhatsApp communication becomes once a business starts getting real volume. Messages were spread across personal phones, replies were delayed or inconsistent, and there was no clear way to track who said what or follow up properly. Businesses were clearly relying on WhatsApp because customers preferred it, but they didn’t have a practical way to manage it as a serious work channel. When we started, the goal was simply to bring structure to WhatsApp conversations. As we worked on the launch, it became clear that structure alone wasn’t enough—teams needed automation for repetitive questions, an easy way to hand off to humans, and connections to the systems they already use. The product evolved by focusing less on “features” and more on everyday workflows: replying faster, not losing context, and making WhatsApp manageable without changing how teams already work.
