Get what you're looking for from any recipe URL. Strip away the life story, the email list popups, and the other fluff that makes it hard to find the recipe itself.
Just tried a few and it works. Removes all of those life stories before the recipe actually starts. This is great! Would love to hear from the ?makers a bit more about the background behind creating this.

@leandro8209 What? You don't want to know about my grandma's beautiful garden and how the light shone on her bright red tomatoes before reading my recipe?
@leandro8209 Glad you like it! I've been doing a lot more cooking recently, as I think many of us are during quarantine, and I just got tired of it being such a pain to get to the information I'm looking for on a recipe. I usually pull up a recipe on my phone, and with all the extra content, the pages jump around a lot while loading, which is such a terrible user experience.
And like @syswarren points out, none of us really need to read that novel about grandma when we're just trying to cook dinner.

@leandro8209 My first attempt and it did not work at all.
I don't know how you did this, but it's magic. I pasted a recipe I saved earlier and your site instantly showed me what I otherwise had to look for on the original page. Well done!
This is great! My wife and I were just discussing the other day how annoying most recipe sites are in regards to all the text that rambles on before actually getting to the recipe. I am assuming that helps SEO and ad revenue in some way.
@mfoitzik I also think it's related to SEO, which is a shame, because it actually makes the content you're looking for harder to find! There's got to be some way they can get similar SEO benefits without impacting the user experience so severely!

Having to navigate personal life stories while dodging Wordpress ads is a running frustration in our home, so I'm excited to try this out! Next feature suggestion would be scraping the comments for "I replaced (literally everything) in the recipe and it came out great!" to generate new recipes :)

I am torn on this. Obviously huge help on user experience. I hate looking at a recipe and the site is just jumping around with all sorts of pop-ups, prompts, ads, etc.. So as a user I am loving this. In that sense, well done and very helpful.
On the other side, I believe we should not forget the creators, who no longer will get any ad revenue if no one sees or clicks on their ads and affiliate links.
