We are all in the midst of a collective identity crisis regarding the nature of work - and it’s not just limited to the workers. It’s all of us, business included. I don’t want to dwell on a subject that’s been analyzed ad infinitum, but there are lasting impacts from COVID lockdowns and the rise of remote work that are still sorting themselves out. How, why, and where we work are chief among them. It’s this change in our working environment that led to the creation of Joinery - a company dedicated to helping everyone enjoy when and how they work by making it as simple as possible for the right person and company to find one another. Joinery was founded to bridge the gap between job seekers and companies in the new work environment. Our beta product is a resume screening tool that helps hiring managers quickly find the best candidates from hundreds or thousands of applications, ensuring a better fit for both the company and the job seeker. A huge chunk of the workforce is scrambling to figure out how they can work in the way they want to, while companies simultaneously figure out how they want to restructure (or not restructure) themselves to respond to this new reality.
