Paste a claim and a YouTube link. ItoldYou reads every word of the video and lands on the exact second it was said: verbatim quote, timestamp, link back to the tape. Or an honest "not on tape" with the closest near-misses. No account needed to try it.

Hey Product Hunt, Artem here. Solo founder, and this is my receipt machine.
The itch: a thread argues for hours about what a pundit actually said in a two-hour video. Somebody links a screenshot with no source. Nobody scrubs the tape.
ItoldYou scrubs the tape. You type the claim roughly, in any language, paste the YouTube link, and it reads every word of the transcript and lands on the exact second: verbatim quote, timestamp, a link that opens the video right at that moment. If the words are not there, it says "not on tape" and shows the closest near-misses with the judge's reasons. It never rates whether a claim is true. It only shows what was said and the second it was said.
What you can do with a receipt:
- Copy the quote with the source attached, and the highlight survives in Docs, Notion or Word.
- Open the research workbench. Mark any span of the transcript with two taps and export clean text.
- Turn it into a card for wherever the argument is happening.
Honest notes, since this is a beta by one person. It works on public YouTube videos only for now. Other platforms are on the list. Free needs no account and reads one video per question. The $19 pack is a one-time payment for 25 videos with credits that never expire, and re-asking anything about a video you already read is free forever. No app, it all runs in the browser, phone or laptop. If something looks off, write me: support@itoldyou.app. A human answers fast, and that human is me.
I would love to hear what you would pull a receipt on first.
