Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We are Hang and Tony, founders of InsForge.
We started InsForge in July with a small team of 5 engineers who had spent years building backend and cloud systems at companies like Amazon, Databricks, Meta and TikTok. For the past 4 months we have been working full time on one question that kept coming up from developers who use AI coding tools.
Tools like Cursor and Claude Code make it incredibly easy to turn an idea into a working prototype in a few hours. But getting that prototype ready for real users is still slow and manual, might takes weeks. You need to set up a database, configure authentication, create storage, manage API keys, and then teach the AI how all of these pieces fit together. The coding part is fast. The setup is not.
InsForge is our answer to that gap. It gives you a complete backend that fits naturally with AI assisted development. You get authentication, database, storage, functions, LLM integrations and a full admin dashboard. Our goal is simple. Turn your coding agent into full-stack enginner.
Today we are coming out of stealth. During our private phase we onboarded a strong group of early users, hosted more than 2000 databases, and worked with 5 enterprise teams to help them ship and launch products faster. Now we are opening the platform to everyone. Many early users went from spending weeks on backend setup to having a fully working application in a single day, and we want to bring that speed to more developers.
Looking ahead, we plan to ship our Beta update in February 2026 with a focus on reliability, stronger AI capabilities and performance improvements across the entire platform.

@jaredl It is AI native! Just plug InsForge into any coding agent and you will notice that you do not feel the backend anymore. Everything just works.
And it is not just working. We put a lot of effort into ensuring that the generated code follows proper security and performance practices.

For anyone wondering “How is InsForge different from Supabase / Firebase / Lovable / Cursor?” here’s the simplest answer:
InsForge removes the manual work that all other platforms still require.
With Supabase/Firebase you still need to:
– dig through dashboards,
– configure providers manually,
– look for docs,
– copy/paste configs back into your AI agent,
– and hope everything connects correctly.
With InsForge, your AI agent (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) becomes a full-stack engineer instantly.

Surprisingly smooth onboarding.
I migrated my NoSQL setup into SQL within minutes.
Not a SQL-heavy user myself, but MCP took away all the complexity, including altering tables and migration!

Congratulations for launching InsForge. It looks very clean and the quick test I did was a very smooth experience. I think this is great for smaller projects, but for bigger / real projects, I'd be very hesitant to use a young service for hosting my db and website. I am sure you have a clean and great product, but there is a maturity that only comes with time.
Would it be possible to use your tools with other services for DB and hosting? Is that on your roadmap?
