I've been fascinated by the opportunity to push hardware to the cloud since Gaikai and OnLive explored this in the gaming industry. Which use cases are you focused on right now, @ericacri? It sounds like mostly the creative field?

@rrhoover Hi Ryan, thanks for question! The demo focused on the creative field because that's my background and I can really showcase what these computers can do to help people. Having said that the computers can be used in many ways. You might be pleased to find out that all the configuration work ( i.e. video card driver licensing and installing) are done for you already so you can pick it up and go as quickly as possible. If gaming is your thing the only challenge would be latency to and from the computer, otherwise I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to use it.

This is awesome. What a great solution to having to buy a more powerful computer ever so often and worry about the payback time. I'm going to try this out for editing video. Not too sure about the pricing though but I'm guessing the cost structure is a big deal?

@edmundamoye Thank you Edmund for your kind words! Helping creative people save money and get the power they need is exactly why I built In One Motion. As for pricing you just pay for the time that you use the computer (as low as $3.50 per hour billed by the minute) and a small monthly fee (which you can cancel anytime) to cover your personal storage, security, and IP address. @nick_arvrtips Hi Nick, great question! You certainly could if you wanted. One of the things I am really proud of is the computer setup process (ie - video card driver licensing and installing) is done for you so you can just pick it up and go! The only challenge would be latency to and from the computers, but I believe there are 3rd party apps out there that can solve that / stream it for you. If it doesn't break the terms of service, you are more then welcome to install it on the computers! Thanks for the heads up on Shadow.tech! I will check them out!

@dlucian Hi Lucian, so sorry about that. We had to stop taking sign ups because the amount of people signing up was larger than the capacity on one of our security features. Rather than allowing people to use a service that isn't up to our standards we blocked the account page. We should be up and running again soon, and will re-promote the page when we are.
