A free, open-source Chrome extension that blurs every listing from an agency you're tired of on immotop.lu. Blurred, not deleted — so you can always audit what's hidden. No account, no tracking, speaks five languages.

Flat hunting in Luxembourg has a specific texture. You open immotop.lu, set your filters, and then scroll past the same handful of agencies over and over: the ones who never answer, the ones whose photos are three years old, the one that lists the same apartment four times at four prices, and the ones advertising a room in a shared flat as if it were an apartment.
You can't filter them out. So I built the filter.
Immotop Companion lets you block a professional seller or agency on immotop.lu in one click:
- Hover an agency's logo in the search results and a small block button appears.
- Click it, and every listing from that seller gets blurred — with a "show anyway" button if you change your mind, and an Undo toast in case of a mis-click.
- New listings loaded by infinite scroll get blurred automatically as you keep going.
- The popup lists your blocked sellers, lets you remove them, and exports/imports the list as JSON.
- Private listings from actual people are never touched. This is about professionals, not neighbors.
Why blurred, not deleted? Removing listings would silently rewrite your results and you'd never know what you missed. Blurring keeps the receipt — you can see that something is hidden, who hid it, and reveal it in a click. It's also more honest about the market: a page of blurred cards tells you who's actually selling here, where an empty page just looks broken.
On privacy: it doesn't send anything anywhere. No analytics, no server, no account, no phoning home. Your blocklist lives in `chrome.storage.local`, on your machine. The export button is there so you own it, not me. I don't do anything with your data because I don't have it, and I don't want it.
It's open source (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) and speaks French, German, English, Portuguese and Luxembourgish — because a Luxembourg tool that only speaks one language isn't a Luxembourg tool.
Next up: pushing blocks to immotop's own mute feature so the same blocklist follows you into the mobile app — built on desktop where it's comfortable, applied where you actually browse.
I'm not going to pretend this fixes the Luxembourg housing market. It fixes my search results, which is roughly the amount of control I actually have. Sometimes the right size for a project is "the annoyance in front of you, gone by dinner."
