Hey Product Hunt! π
Iβm so excited (and a little nervous!) to finally launch IllustraAI here!
A little backstory β Iβm an indie hacker who loves design. Over the past few years, Iβve built several projects, and one thing I kept running into was the struggle to find good, custom illustrations. Stock images felt too generic, custom artwork was often expensive, and I didnβt always have the time (or skill!) to create my own.
Thatβs when the idea for IllustraAI hit me. What if there was a faster, easier way to get high-quality, unique vector illustrations β tailored exactly to your needs β just by describing what you wanted?
So I built it! With IllustraAI, you can generate beautiful, scalable SVG illustrations in seconds β perfect for websites, apps, marketing materials, and more. No more digging through endless stock libraries or paying a fortune for custom work.
This project has been a labor of love, and seeing it go from a simple idea to a real product people actually use has been incredible. Iβd love to hear what you think! If you have any feedback, ideas, or just want to say hi, drop a comment β Iβll be here all day.
Thank you so much for your support! π

excellent job with this - think a few more credits to get comfortable with the product would be good. wasn't clear that i could apply a color palette after selecting a design. but you got a paying subscriber in me!
@evanyang already subscribed so no need! Try to keep your price reasonable so the big guys like freepik donβt come in and vulture you on pricing but instead want to pick you up.

I am not sure about this fact - is it true that only 3 credits are allocated for trial user? Perhaps this can be raised, 3 is certainly not enough to do a decent test of an AI product.

this is cool! I am trying this now for a small project I am working on.
my suggestions: however many credits you get for free is not enough. by the time I figured out how to use it I was out of credits. at that point I would not purchase or even give credit card number unless I got to try it for a solid 15/30 minutes. but that is me, I'm gen X and prob have a different view than most.
sign up process - the survey is way too long. it felt like 10 questions about why I am using the app seemed a bit much for the first experience.
Congrats Evan @evanyang & team on the PH launch! π As a product lead who hates generic stock art, I love how IllustraAI solves real pain points - your story about indie hustle resonates hard. The SVG output quality is π₯ for landing pages!
One suggestion: Could you add a 'style fusion' feature? Like mixing flat design with retro gradients? That could help users maintain brand consistency while exploring variations. Also, maybe a bulk export option for teams?
P.S. How do you handle complex prompts like 'cyberpunk cat reading blockchain news'? Asking for a friend π Amazing work - can't wait to see style libraries expansion!

Great product. It will be useful for a lot of people.
- Can I create a set of illustrations in one prompt?
- Does it maintain consistency across prompts?
One idea can be: It generates illustrations based on the website's look and feel. It will avoid a lot of guidance from users to get it perfect.
