An effortless way to capture ideas. Instead of letting them slip away, you can store them, focus on them, and create action steps to bring them to life. Track your progress on ideas, projects, goals, and more. An alternative to apple notes.
Hey everyone!
Iām excited to share my very first app with you: IdeaVault. If you love jotting down ideas, goals, projects or just random notes but want something more aesthetically pleasing and goal-oriented than Apple Notes, this might be for you!
What is IdeaVault?
ļæ¼
Itās a quick and effortless way to capture ideas the moment they strike. Instead of letting them slip away, you can store them, focus on them, and create action steps to bring them to life.
Key Features
* Instant Note Creation: One big button press to start a noteāperfect for capturing thoughts when youāre on the go.
* Action Steps for Your Goals: Turn your ideas into achievable steps. Want to run a marathon? Start with āRun a 5kā and build from there.
* Simple Organization: Categories, tags, and an easy-to-use search mean youāll never lose track of your ideas.
* Fun Widgets: Keep your ideas top of mind on your home screen, track your Vault Streak, and more.
āØIām launching IdeaVault in Beta and would love your feedback (positive or negative) before the full release. If youāre interested in helping shape the future of this app, Iād really appreciate your input!

Congrats on the launch, @arshia_behzad ! We all have an idea or two that we wanted to jot down in time. Curious though how this differentiates with established tools like Notion? And if you can share the plans for monetizing this?

@thefullstack hi Alex, so this app is more for quick notes and ideas more than anything. The good thing though is that this integrates with notion so that you can use both in tandem!
Hi Arshia, I tested this out in the beta and I'm so excited to see it has launched in the app store! Is there a checklist option? Like if I want to create a packing list, for example?

@seedstohealthĀ Yes there is a checklist! Simply just tap on a number for an action step and it will switch to checklists!

The app looks beautiful, and I like the idea of "action steps". I dowloaded on the iPhone (small 13 mini, but it looks great on it) and also had the idea to see if I could install IdeaVault on the M2 Mac. You didn't block Mac installation. So I got it there and it looks great too, even if it quite small display. I could also use iPhone mirorring on the Mac, but that function is yet not open for European countries. Since I have not the Pro version, I can't test the iCloud sync.

Thereās a unique use case that was not fulfilled by any app before IdeaVault came in. Great UX. Helps in grooming ideas!
This app has replaced the notes app for me as of late! Really like the calendar addition to help keep my day organized and scheduled the way I like it. I used to struggle with efficiency and I can now keep track of my daily tasks thanks to IdeaVault.
Congrats on the launch, @arshia_behzad !
