Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built HowDifficultIsIt.com because I kept running into the same problem as a gamer: Before starting a new game, I could easily find reviews, screenshots, videos, completion times, and ratings. What I couldn't find was a reliable answer to a simple question: "How hard is this game, really?" One person would call a game "brutally difficult" while another would say it was easy. Review scores don't capture difficulty, and searching Reddit or forums usually produces a handful of opinions rather than a broader consensus. So I started building a site focused entirely on game difficulty. Players can rate games they've played, and those ratings are aggregated into rankings, lists, and searchable game pages. The goal is to help people find games that match the level of challenge they're looking for, whether that's a relaxing weekend game or something that will test their limits. The project evolved quite a bit from the original idea. What started as a simple ranking list became a growing database with thousands of games, filtering by platform and genre, user profiles, hardest/easiest game rankings, and community-driven difficulty scores.
