@alina_bimogg I tried it and I feel like it didn't actually understand my video or skipped over a few things I said, did you make sure to use Gemini for video understanding API? or did you use something else
@khalil_ayari1 Thanks so much for testing it You're right -right now it analyzes the video frame by frame but doesn't process audio yet, so it misses what you say. Speech understanding is next on our roadmap -I'll ping you the moment it's live so you can re-test. Really appreciate you flagging this!
@alina_bimogg Ofc! But my videos had captions on so I feel like even without speech understanding it should have covered everything if it truly used every frame which is why I feel like it skipped over the captions too.
@khalil_ayari1 Right now the analyzer samples a limited set of frames and downscales them for speed so on-screen captions between those frames get missed, and small text can be too low-res to read. So it's not analyzing every frame yet. Two fixes going in: more frames at higher resolution, plus OCR so it reliably reads captions (and audio transcription next, so it catches what you say too). I'll follow up here once it's shipped would genuinely love a re-test. Thanks for the detailed feedback, this is exactly what helps us get it right.
