Homeschool families juggle many apps. Facebook groups for community, Band or Slack for chat, spreadsheets for curriculum, signup genius, sites for co-op scheduling and dues, homeschool-life for public listings. Homeschool.fit replaces all of them. One platform for curriculum planning, real-time group chat, co-op scheduling with sign-ups, events, polls, dues collection, work sample portfolios for charter reporting, a living books library, and community discovery. Built by a homeschool family.

We replaced 7 apps with one platform built for homeschool families. I was sick of the scramble. Every time we had to produce work samples for our charter school, it was always a scramble. Watching my wife spend hours meeting with other moms to build schedules for their homeschool group. Seeing all the work that went into rescheduling and keeping track of readings across 4 children when someone got sick. All on paper. I knew we could do better by bringing it under one product.
I also knew it had to serve each "sphere of influence" in a homeschooler's life. We modeled the solution across four spheres:
Your family — curriculum scheduling, book pacing, work samples, narration, and the ability to build, fork, and share custom curricula.
Your group — 20+ built-in tools for co-op management: events, polls, sign-ups, dues collection, meeting reminders, classes, and chat.
The community — a group directory, forums called "Circles," and a coming vendor / tutor marketplace.
The world — blog content helping people explore whether homeschooling is right for them.
We spent years dreaming about how to scale the co-op my wife formed beyond our small circle of families. Homeschool.fit is the answer we found. By giving homeschoolers better tools, those who are sold on the philosophy but struggling with the logistics finally have a partner. We want to help improve the quality of education for anyone pursuing a homeschool education, nationwide.
What tools are you duct-taping together for your homeschool? We'd love to hear what's working and what's not.
